The story is about teenage girls. When I see these girls on the street, in shops, at the movies or in other public spaces, I try to imagine what they are thinking about and why they are trying to present themselves the way they do. I find it paradoxical that a culture that promotes a strong cult of youth pushes these girls to believe that they must forget that they are young and instills the desire to seem older.

There were times when a girl was compelled to be mature and take responsibility at a very young age, but nowadays it seems that each person has a lot more time to define his or her place in the world. But the girls themselves are rushing to cross the borderline of childhood, and awkwardly step into the life on the other side.
